Danish contract manufacturing firm Fipros Nutrition has confirmed its new €15m facility for the blending and packing of milk powder products is now open for business.

The 2,200 square metre production site offers full automation in the production of conventional and organic milk-based powders, specifically stage 1 to 3 infant-, toddler- and family- powders.

“Fipros Nutrition opened during the Corona pandemic,” says Conny Twisttmann, CEO of Fipros. “This circumstance made personal visits from potential international customers very difficult.

“But we also know how important it is to be able to see for oneself how the factory and its machinery look like, how exactly we work and how we guarantee food safety and ultimately quality.

“This is why we have tried to capture all this information in videos. It is a very powerful tool to make up for personal visits by offering an almost personally guided virtual tour through our premises.”

Fipros subsidiary

Formed in May 2020, as a subsidiary of Fipros A/S, Fipros Nutrition’s facility, based in Ebberup in Denmark, offers the dairy powder sector two Ruberg precision batch blenders and a compact Jorgensen Engineering canning line.

The production concept uses gravity as a means of material transportation, thereby securing an effective, gentle, and resource-saving production flow.

The production set-up is also designed for flexibility with regards to niche products and large production volumes, with a minimum order quantity of only 2 tons.

“This makes it possible for us to service customers with large-scale productions as well as medium and small sized producers, who are looking to expand into new markets or launch new products,” the firm says.
