Soy food maker sees sales fall

Naturade, the US group which makes the Total Soy range of soy protein products, saw its first quarter sales fall by 18 per cent to $3.5 million (€3.8m), the first decline in sales for the company in two years.

Online marketing deal for supplement sales

Imagenetix, a US-based supplement manufacturer, has signed a marketing agreement with Vibrant Health, a company which specialises in online sales of vitamin supplements, which it hopes will lead to an increase in sales of its various natural products.

The nutritional ingredients business unit of Dutch ingredients company DSM has recently launched what it describes as the world's first non-gelatine, vegetarian-approved beta-carotene beadlets.
