Omega-3 solutions, plant-based proteins, functional gummies, sleep bars, MS support, and blood sugar control products are in the lineup of new launches this month.

Omega Active

Omega Active is an Omega-3 supplement by Ireland-based brand Revive Active, providing 1,362mg of Omega-3 fish oil per two-capsule serving, including 756mg EPA and 504mg DHA.

The ‘the world's first omega-3 supplement using a plant-based enteric shell’ features a shell that prevents breakdown in the stomach, aiding absorption and eliminating fishy aftertaste.

Recommended for individuals 15 years and older, including pregnant and breastfeeding women, the capsules aim to support brain, vision, and heart health, and contribute to normal brain and eye development in unborn and breastfed infants.

Superblend

Sports and lifestyle nutrition brand MyProtein announced the launch of its new plant-based protein ‘Superblend’ made from upcycled barley and rice protein extracted from beer industry by-products.

Superblend comes in two varieties: Plant Protein Superblend, with 22g of protein, and Clear Protein Superblend, the ‘world's first clear barley protein’, with 18g of protein per serving.

The aim of the product is to both reduce food waste and provide a nutritious post-workout option. As well as a high protein offering, it contains nine essential amino acids, as well as vitamin B12, copper, potassium, vitamin B6, zinc, and phosphorus, aiming to support muscle health and metabolism.

Dirtea gummies

Functional mushroom powder brand Dirtea made its foray into the ever-growing gummy scene, launching four new products.

The lemon-flavoured Chaga gummy, designed to ‘provide much-needed caffeine-free energy throughout the day’ contains 3,000mg of Chaga, vitamin C and zinc.

Designed to ‘reduce fatigue, maintain vitality, and bolster endurance’, the mixed berry-flavoured Cordyceps gummies contain 3,000mg of Cordyceps, and vitamins B3, B5, and C.

The Lion’s Mane gummy, in apple flavour, contains 2,400mg of Lion's Mane, and vitamins B12 and B5. Dirtea promotes that "when taken daily, our Lion’s Mane Gummies support cognitive function, memory, nervous system regulation, and mental clarity, while also helping to reduce tiredness and fatigue".

The peach-flavored Tremella gummy is designed to support healthy hair, skin and nails, containing 3,000mg of Tremella, plus biotin, vitamin C, selenium, zinc, vitamin A and vitamin E, with the aim of supporting the ‘natural synthesis of hyaluronic acid and collagen from within’.

Calm bars

Ten PM, the startup focused on improving sleep, launched its oat and cherry flavored ‘Calm bars’, designed to be "the ideal evening treat to help calm your body and mind in preparation for a great night's sleep".

Each 50g bar contains ashwagandha, magnesium, and chamomile - ingredients found to promote relaxation and regulate sleep patterns.

Neuro Phix

Botanical supplement startup Phytaphix launched a new blend targeting inflammation, fatigue and nervous symptom function to ‘empower’ consumers with multiple sclerosis (MS).

Neuro Phix contains ingredients such as boswellic acid, ellagic acid, curcuminoids, ginger root, silymarin and vitamins B12 and D3 in a capsule format.

The twelve ingredients included were chosen to support various aspects of health, including reduced fatigue, maintaining normal inflammation response, normal muscle function and normal psychological function.

Stick pack format

PharmaLinea has introduced a white label on-the-go stick pack format for its >Your< prediabetiq supplement, featuring Qgluco, a patented plant-based blood sugar control ingredient, and Chromium.

The new orostick format complements the >Your< prediabetiq capsules launched last year amid increasing consumer interest in glucose control.

According to Matevž Ambrožič, PharmaLinea's marketing and PR Director, the launch of the capsules has been the most significant in his tenure, driven by the growing population affected by diabetes and prediabetes, as well as heightened interest in glucose management facilitated by continuous glucose monitors (CGMs).
