NutraIngredients Awards 2024: What the judges are looking for
Winning a prestigious NutraIngredients Award makes your company shine and sets it apart from the competition, engaging new clients and customers. It is a great way for companies and people to showcase their hard work and achievements within the industry.
Entries for the 14 prestigious awards are open now – with categories to celebrate ingredient and finished product success in addition to highly competitive categories for nutrition research, innovations in women’s health and start-ups.
Categories include: Beauty from Within, Cognitive Function, Healthy Ageing, Microbiome Modulation, Sports Nutrition, Botanical, Immune Support, Sustainability Initiative of the Year, Nutrition Research Project, Start-Up Award and more.
Judges will be on the search for solid scientific evidence to demonstrate entries offer a unique nutritional solution to a need or problem.
We’d also like entrants to demonstrate commercial success and engagement from their target market and want to know what gives the entry the X factor - what makes it stand out from the crowd.
For the ingredient and finished product categories, entries don't have to be something new, and it's OK if we have recognised your product or ingredient in the past, but these entries have to display how the previous 12 months (or period since last award win) have been special.
Perhaps a new study was published that backs the benefits of the ingredient or product, or perhaps there's a big new commercial positioning for the product, or maybe the entry had a particularly impressive year with consumer interest and sales. Whatever the update, we will consider the entry in this new light.
For our 10th awards, we plan to celebrate our finalists with an exclusive winners celebration in Geneva on the evening of May 15, 2024.
