Convenient immunity
The aloe vera company Forever has released a ‘Forever Immune Gummy’ product in tropical fruit flavour. The plant-based gummies contain 10 vitamins, including vitamin B6, C and D which contribute to the normal functioning of the immune system, as well as zinc.
Alasadair Barcroft, founder and director of the Aloe Vera Centre, describes the new product: “It's perfect for those who prefer easy to take supplements on the go, whenever it suits them, without the hassle of having to swallow them with water and who also want to support their immune system with a simple, chewable, vitamin packed, nutritional 'Gummy' supplement.”
Caffeine alternatives
Holland and Barrett has launched a new own brand range of kombucha, containing live cultures and the adaptogen ginseng. The line includes: ‘Focus’ in pineapple and ginger flavour, ‘Calm’ in apple, cucumber and mint, and ‘Energy’ in mango and yuzu.
Additionally, the functional mushroom brand DIRTEA launched a new Matcha Mushroom Super Blend which, when brewed with hot water, creates an energy boosting drink with 80% less caffeine than coffee. The powder contains 2.5g of functional mushrooms per serving, including Tremella to stimulate collagen production, Lion’s mane to improve focus, and Turkey tail to enhance immunity. The super blend also contains matcha, MCT, and Moringa.

The ‘Calm’ granola includes cashew, mango, and chocolate flavourings, whilst containing ashwagandha and lysine to contribute to lowering cortisol levels, as well as green tea and lion’s mane. The ‘Body and soul’ line is flavoured with summer berries and walnut, whilst containing maca root, ginkgo, and ginseng plants to contribute to “boosting memory, mood, stamina, whilst reducing anxiety levels”. The ‘Energise’ line blends caffeine, ginseng, lion’s mane and matcha green tea to “optimise performance throughout the day”, utilising flavours of coffee and white chocolate.
Revamped protein
Optimum Nutrition has revamped its high-protein bar range, introducing three new flavours which include chocolate sweet coconut, chocolate sea salt crunch, and chocolate berry crunch.
