There is still time to register to join representatives from Huel, Alibaba, FourFive, Bulk, Gatorade Sports Science Institute, and more at NutraIngredients’ Sports & Active Nutrition Summit, 5-7th October.

The event will be hosted by Nick Morgan, Director of Sports Integrated, and Nikki Hancocks, Editor of NutraIngredients, and will cover a range of topics, from how the industry is changing to how to build a disruptive category leader and how to achieve success in retail. Also on the agenda are the opportunities of personalization and how to leverage cutting edge tech to boost performance and recovery, and how best to engage with active female consumers.

The Sports & Active Nutrition Summit Europe (SANSE) will also introduce our first Start-up Stars: Innovative and disruptive early-stage companies who will share their experiences to date and provide valuable insights to companies large and small.

The three-day event is built on five key topic pillars:

State of the Nation

What’s happening in sports nutrition and how is the industry changing? This session will discuss the latest trends, challenges and opportunities facing the industry, and its impact both now and in the future.

Fuelling Performance and Recovery

Many factors impact performance and recovery, both of which are recognised as of equal importance for active individuals. Experts will explore the most important factors, including immunity, mind, mood and sleep (amongst others).

Biological Based Nutrition - The Female Athlete

Female athletes face a range of challenges that vary widely from those of their male counterparts. Our speakers will identify what we know (or don’t know) about the female athlete, and what implications this has on product development.

Sports Nutrition in a Digital Age

Technology is evolving, consumers are changing, and sports nutrition is becoming more digital. This can mean many things, but it starts with the growth of online DTC ecommerce, an increased focus on personalisation, and the inevitable fascination with the world of gaming and esports.

Keeping People Active

If you are not healthy, you can’t perform. Keeping athletes training and consumers exercising is one of the most important areas for innovation. Our experts consider the primary reasons that prevent from exercising (e.g. injury) and how we can reduce this.
