During the event, a number of expert speakers will detail the latest in science, innovation and regulation in the immunity space.
Ruud Albers, founder and CSO of NutriLeads, will start by outlining the journey in taking an ingredient from discovery to commercialisation in the face of this new ‘normal’. Speaking to NutraIngredients’ Science and Technology Editor, Will Chu, he was share his experience of doing this, highlighting the challenges and the successes.
This will be followed by a presentation from Dr Lena Leder, Manager Science & Content at Kappa Bisocience, who will discuss the synergy between K2 and D3 and how the body regulates calcium. She will explain how they act together in the body to reach balanced calcium tissue localisation.
Leder will then join Dr Karsten Krüger, Professor of Exercise Physiology and Sports Therapy at the Justus-Liebig-University Gießen, Germany, Dr Justin Green, Director of Scientific Affairs at EpiCor Postbiotic (A Cargill Brand) and Dr Mark Miller, President of Kaiviti Consulting, for a conversation about post-pandemic immunity, including the impact of botanical-based ingredients and gut microbiome’s role in the immunological response.
