“Beauty and wellness have always been a really big part of my life and I think one of the things that connects me to that is I've always wanted to do something that gives back, or makes an impact on people's lives. Now, you might be thinking, how does beauty play into that? But for me, beauty was always about confidence and giving women the tools to be confident to go after the things that they wanted,” said Wajih. “Wellness has always been at the core. My mom is a registered dietitian and nutritionist and growing up, so food nutrition, self-care was always something that she guided us with and was really important to her and became important to us.”
Wajih has also lived all over the world, something she said has helped shape her outlook both personally and professionally.
“I feel very fortunate that I've really been able to experience [travel] not only with different companies and different brands, but in different cultures and countries with different people. And I definitely think it's made me a better marketer, but I also think it's allowed me to understand a different level of connection and storytelling, because I've had a very diverse experience when it comes to marketing.”
