Lycored provides support for Ukraine

Global wellness business Lycored is providing support for Ukrainians and is urging others in the nutrition, food and beauty industries to do the same.

The company, which has employees in Ukraine, is supplying food and medical aid to people in the city of Dnipro but wants to do more to help keep spirits up.

Lycored is now calling on its industry partners to send messages of support, written anonymously, to be translated, printed and then delivered along with food parcels to the community.  It will make a financial donation to a charity that provides humanitarian support for every written message.

Messages of support

Shirley Cohen, CEO of Lycored, said: “All our thoughts and prayers are with our colleagues, their families, their communities and all the people of Ukraine.

“You will always have our immense respect, appreciation and support, and our entire global family stands with you.”

Messages of support can be written at www.littleglowapp.com, as well as at the company’s Science of Positivity exhibit at the New York Museum of Science.

Showing solidarity

Cohen added: “During a crisis like this, we all naturally want to do everything we can. As well as making charitable donations, we would encourage everyone in our industry to show solidarity by sending a message of support.

Of course, it’s a tiny gesture but we hope it will provide a few glimmers of light at this unimaginably dark time.”

Lycored, which is part of Adama Group, is an international business providing natural carotenoids for food, beverage and dietary supplement products. Established in Israel in 1995, it is committed to ‘cultivating wellness’ and aims to develop natural ingredients and products by unearthing and combining nature’s nutrition potential with cutting-edge science.
