The deal sees all teams supplied with a combination of fourfive’s athlete ready range of premium wellness products.
Fourfive’s first move to officially support an internationally recognised brand like Saracens is the first of a number of complimentary partnerships the company has planned as it looks to cement its position as the UK’s most trusted brand for professional athletes and those who lead an active lifestyle.
Co-founders and professional rugby players, George Kruis and Dom Day, created the Informed Sport certified fourfive brand, originally a CBD range, in 2018 after becoming frustrated by the lack of transparency in the supplements market.
The CBD and wellness range of supplements promises to offer all-natural ingredients, no artificial preservatives or fillers, organic mineral carriers, and optimum
bioavailibility.
Commenting on the partnership, Day said: “We have built one of the UK’s leading wellness brands in just under two years. Our aim is to ensure that anyone can have access to the same products that professional athletes take to boost their wellness regime. We are competitively priced, putting quality at the heart of everything we do.”
The full range includes all the supplements that the co-founders believe are regularly consumed by elite athletes and everyday active consumers alike, including: CBD, Vitamin D3 and C, Female Multivitamin, Male Multivitamin, Omega 3 Fish Oil, and Biotic LGG.
Kruis added: “As a professional athlete, what goes in my body can be critical to my performance. It was very much the quality and spec of our products that got this deal over the line, and we believe that compared to other brands in this space we have created something special.
"We approached a hand full of clubs and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive in the fact we offer a good all-round supplement range.
"We’re delighted that Saracens agrees that we have set the standard and that athletes across the club can benefit from our range of wellness products. This will also be a great way to engage with the fans of the club directly.”
"For us it's quite exciting that across the range of different clubs in different sports there's a really good appetite for really good products and that really validates what we are doing."
Lucy Wray, CEO of Saracens, said, “We are delighted to welcome fourfive to the Saracens family. Both George and Dom know exactly what this club is all about from their playing days so to see them back again in this capacity is very pleasing for everyone. It is a very exciting partnership for us and we can’t wait to see it grow over the 21/22 season.”
New listings
The brand has also gained an important new listing with the gym chain Everlast Gyms, which sees its products available in 90 gyms across the UK.
Day says this is just the first in a number of new listings to be announced in the coming weeks and months.
"Gaining new listings has been particularly difficult on the CBD front but now we have started to see retailers trust us those listings are starting to come through.
"Our background and our ethics are something retailers get behind massively."
Update: On November 3rd, Fourfive announced they will also become the official 2021/22 Leicester Tigers Wellness Nutrition Supplier, providing the rugby club with a range of athlete-ready vitamins and premium wellness products.
