The event will take place from October 12-14, with two sessions each day - 10.30am to 12.30 CET (9.30am to 11.30 BST) followed by 3pm to 5pm CET (2pm to 4pm BST).
Day one will see Sports Integrated MD Nick Morgan and NutraIngredients Section Editor Nikki Hancocks in conversation with a number of the industry's opinion leaders.
Garyth Stone, Managing Director at Houlihan Lokey, will provide his perspective on how the industry is evolving including how he defines the market, who is winning, who is losing, the impact of direct-to-consumer ecommerce and acute impact of COVID.
Dr Mariette Abrahams, CEO & Founder at Qina, will then present on the opportunities for innovation in the world of personalised nutrition for active consumers.
Robert Walker, Head of Business Development and Growth at Aminolabs Group, Jason Rickaby, Co-Founder of HMN24, Emma Gardner, Lead Performance Nutritionist for English Institute of Sport, England Men's Cricket and Great Britain Women's Hockey, and Prof. James Morton, Director of Performance Solutions at Science in Sport will also join day one's events.
Day two will turn the focus on the microbiome as Miguel Toribio-Mateas, Head of R&D at Chuckling Goat, will present on the impact of competition pressure on the gut.
Discussion will then turn to the global opportunities and challenges for European brands, with Zarina Kanji, Business Development and Marketing at Alibaba Group, discussing how brands can dinding success in China and Joshua Schall, President of J.Shall Consulting discussing the land of hope and opportunity - America.
Day three's attention will be turned to recovery. Mike Naylor, Head of Performance Nutrition at the English Institute of Sport and Consultant Performance Nutrition for The Football Association, will join to discuss the preparation and execution of nutrition at Euro 2020.
Three startup founders with a history in professional sports will offer their insights: Thomas Robson-Kanu, from The Turmeric Co., David Dunne from Hexus Performance and Dominic Day, from FourFive.
The event's key host Nick Morgan says: “I think it is quite a defining moment for sports nutrition. It feels there is a positive outlook post COVID as consumers are looking to be proactive towards exercise and nutrition.
"However, whilst there is obvious reward there is arguably never been more risk with brands struggling to navigate the extent of their permission in addition to industry challenges like whey protein prices, containers costs and others.
"And it is these real applied topics that we want to get stuck into in addition to broader discussions on key trends and opportunities in innovation. It is going to be an exciting event”.
