Applied Nutrition to meet nutritional needs of Rangers FC as latest partner

Scottish Premiership outfit Rangers has announced that Applied Nutrition are the club’s new partner with the sports nutrition brand used to aid pre-match preparations and recovery.

The agreement is the latest one for the Merseyside-based firm, having struck up similar partnerships with professional football clubs such as Tranmere Rovers, Plymouth Argyle and Bristol Rovers.

“Applied Nutrition are delighted to become the Official Sports Nutrition Partner of the Scottish Champions,” says Thomas Ryder, Applied Nutrition’s CEO.

“Rangers are a huge and prestigious club and we’re looking forward to working with the Sports Nutrition team to keep the players fuelled and further develop our offering in the professional sports market.”

As part of the agreement, the club’s stadium and digital platforms will feature the Applied Nutrition brand that includes pre/intra workout blends, weight management and energy gel products.

Along with supplying a host of football clubs with their nutritional needs, Applied Nutrition has also partnered up with the Salford Red Devils rugby league club.

The firm also has ties with the team representing professional boxer Hughie Fury, cousin of British professional boxer and two-time world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.

“We are delighted to be working alongside Applied Nutrition as we continue to service the individual and collective needs of the squad in order to ensure they are best-prepared to take on every challenge they face this season, adds Rangers’ Head of Performance, Jordan Milsom.
