NutraIngredients will host a free webinar next Thursday (April 29th) looking into the changing landscape of the sports nutrition market, the new consumer interests, and the role of personalised nutrition.

Entitled 'Sports and active nutrition: Unlocking potential and performance', the 90 minute webinar will look to unpick how this market has been shaped by the pandemic and how brands are working to stay in touch with a fast-evolving consumer set.

Director at Sports Integrated, Nick Morgan, will begin the show by explaining how the consumer landscape has progressed and how brands are developing in order to retain core customers while remaining relevant to the new generation.

Dom Day, the former professional rugby player turned co-founder of the startup company FourFive, will then provide his insights on what athletes want and how his brands aim to bridge the trust and transparency gap.

The athlete turned entrepreneur will also discuss the opportunity around CBD and how this ingredient has been received by athletes and active consumers.

Finally, Ahmed El-Sohemy, Professor and Canada Research Chair in Nutrigenomics at the University of Toronto, will discuss how genetic differences modify responses to nutrition and how this advancing area of knowledge is likely to shape the sports nutrition market in the future.

Airing at 3pm (CET), the webinar is free to attend but pre-registration is required.

Thank you to the sponsors of this event: Gencor, Robertet, Roquette, AstaReal and Sensient.
