Checks by the Federal Agency for the safety of the food chain (FASFC), found the erectile dysfunction drug Sildenafil in the male aphrodisiac, ‘Gouttes d'amour’ and ‘Miel du Soudan Aphrodisiaque’.
Both of Moroccan origin, all expiration dates and lot numbers are implicated in the recall. Described as contained in cardboard packaging, each product weighs 250 grams (g) (25 sticks of 10g) and were mainly sold online.
“The FASFC has removed these products from sale and recalled them from consumers,” the recall notice states.
“The FASFC requests that these food supplements are not consumed and that consumers contact the store or website where the product was purchased.”
Nordic Health Spray
Nordic Health Sprays announces the withdrawal of its CBD Daily Oral Spray after product was found to contain a cannabinoid-containing hemp extract, which is an EU non-approved novel food.
The CBD spray, which is registered as a dietary supplement in Finland, was withdrawn from the market after a decision from the Food Agency to withdraw the CBD spray.
The withdrawal relates to two batches of CBD Mouth Spray (25 ml) (Batch Nos. 9J043 and 9J044), best before 09/2021.
“We were informed by an expert company that we can legally sell CBD spray in Finland, so we launched it on the market,” the recall notice states.
“We have now stopped importing the CBD spray. CBD spray is sold freely in many countries. However, we strongly believe that in the future there will be a common line in Europe and worldwide for the permitted sale of CBD spray as a nutritional supplement.
“Once such an authority policy is found, we will bring the CBD spray back to the market,” its makers add.
