Paul Mannion was a headline speaker at our recent Probiota Asia summit in Singapore, where he revealed details of the firm's probiotics strategy, and his take on the wider issues affecting the sector.

We caught up with him on camera, where he discussed his fears around commoditisation, and cited examples of probiotics being added to 'inherently unhealthy products'.

He also explained how Blackmores had recently ramped up its efforts in the probiotics space, and hinted at plans for a new range specifically for China, where the firm is keen to build its business in-market, alongside its thriving e-commerce channel.

Last but not least, after recently being elected president of Complimentary Medicines Australia (CMA), he reflected on some of the key priorities for the trade body.
