Welsh Rugby Union extend official supplier agreement with PAS
The Welsh-based sports nutrition company—official suppliers to the WRU since 2014—has agreed to a new two-year arrangement as part of the national squad’s preparations for the 2019 Rugby World Cup.
“We are delighted to extend our long relationship with the WRU and to commit to working alongside the representative teams for the next few years," said Wales National Squad Nutritionist and co-founder of PAS Jon Williams.
"As a Welsh company, we take a great deal of pride working alongside the WRU, the national teams as well as all four Welsh regions and it is an exciting time in the game in the lead up to the 2019 RWC."

As part of the agreement, PAS will make available its complete range of sports nutrition products, which include ‘Real Deal’ protein bars, Excel Gels, and its electrolyte drink with added BCAAs, Pro Zero Cola – all bath-tested by UK-based food supplement certification service Informed-Sport.
"It is great news for the WRU and all the representative sides that PAS have extended their relationship,” said WRU head of physical performance, Paul Stridgeon.
"PAS work alongside all the national teams, providing a range of sports nutrition and advice. Jon specially has worked with the National Squad as Nutritionist for the last nine years and that relationship is a major advantage to us.
“All products are formulated by Jon and batch tested which is hugely important. It is great to have this relationship with a leading Welsh brand and we look forward to continue working with Jon and PAS over the coming years."
PAS works with all four of the Welsh Regions as well as the English Premier League champions of 2015-16, Leicester City.
In 2017, PAS were also recognised as an official supplier to the British & Irish Lions.
