Held on Wednesday May 16th in Geneva, after the second day of Vitafoods Europe, the dinner and awards ceremony has become a fixture of the Vitafoods calendar – and next year will be even bigger and better!

Entries for the 12 prestigious awards are open now – with categories to celebrate ingredient and finished product success in addition to highly competitive categories for nutrition research, personalised nutrition, and start-ups.
The closing date for awards entries is Friday 2nd February 2018. Entering the awards is a great way to showcase your hard work and achievements and communicate this within your business and externally to the trade.
“Following the high quality and quantity of entries received, and strong competition, for the 2017 edition –and based on feedback from the industry, next year’s NutraIngredients Awards will see a few change to our categories and entry criteria,” said Graham Twyford, Executive Director for EMEA/APAC.
”These changes will now be ‘locked in’ for the next three years in order to ensure clearer entry criteria, even higher quality entries, and sustainable market weight for successful finalists and winners in all categories.”
The 12 categories for the NutraIngredients-Awards aim to celebrate the best ingredients, finished products, research, companies, innovations and people that industry has to offer in key consumer categories.
The independent awards will be judged by some of the sharpest eyes and minds in nutrition including: Patrick Coppens, Director Regulatory & Scientific Affairs at Food Supplements Europe; Jens Bleiel, CEO, Food for Health Ireland; and Dr Astrid Stuckelberger, from Faculty of Medicine – University of Geneva and Lausanne.
