Kyowa quality logo use awarded to sports nutrition firm +Watt

Kyowa Hakko has given the seal of approval to dietary and sports supplement company +Watt upgrading the Italian-based firm to premium partner.

The improvement in status means +Watt can now include the Kyowa Quality Premier Partner logo on all its products containing Kyowa ingredients.

Other benefits includes customised marketing support, media outreach, advertising and inclusion on the Kyowa Quality website.

“Having an internal production department allows +Watt to see what raw materials are available, and then choose consciously what we will sell to our clients without compromise,” said +Watt’s chief executive officer Stefano Sinelli.

“Kyowa is a company that’s proved through the years it is run with integrity and safety, and places great emphasis on standards and pricing. It is a fundamental partner for +Watt.”

The upgrade marks the latest progress in a collaboration that stretches back to 2015, where +Watt adopted Kyowa Quality standards for six of its dietary supplement products.

These products, ‘BCAA+ 8:1:1’ ‘Glutammina+’ ‘Ramificati+’ and ‘Ramificati+ New Formula 2:1:1’ containing Kyowa-approved ingredients that include L-Glutamine and branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs).

The logo indicates Kyowa’s line of ultra-pure amino acids and related compounds that have been produced and refined using its proprietary technologies and standards

Kyowa in Europe

Kyowa’s ingredients are also found in other products across Europe such as Nutrilife’s Arginine (L-Arginine), Glutamine (L-Glutamine) and Yamamoto Nutrition’s Glutamine Pro (L-Glutamine) and BCAA Pro 8.1.1 (BCAA).

In addition, the Kyowa Quality logo has featured on its Cognizin citicoline supplement that was made available in the Scandinavian region back in September.

Earlier in March, Kyowa expanded another logo-endorsed product—Setria Glutathione—in Europe giving consumers a wider option of boosting glutathione levels in the body through oral supplementation.

It’s collaboration with +Watt appears to be part of continued efforts to strengthen its presence in the European market, where its ingredients tap into the desire to boost neurological function as well as the demand for targeted sports nutrition.
