The firm with about €40m in annual sales made the list by showing solid revenue growth over a 3-year period.
Exports have been a prime driver for the company that last year moved into a 100,000 square foot factory, office, lab and cleanroom that met Class 8 ISO requirements to control airborne contamination.
“We’ve worked incredibly hard to develop the business over the past few years, entering new markets and increasing our service offering in line with customer demand,” said CCL managing director James Stevens.
“We provide our clients with creative product applications for on-trend ingredients, enabling them to be the first to market.”
CCL saw its export revenue grow 76% in 2014 and 2015. It specialises in sectors like supplements, sports nutrition, weight management, foods and beverages and animal nutrition.
UK government treasurer George Osborne MP said SMEs were “leading the charge in rebuilding our economy” and were the“backbone of the British economy.”
“This government fully understands the need to support ambitious entrepreneurs and ensure they can access the finance they need to grow.”
The list included many food and beverage companies including Best Foods, Cawingredients and Japan Centre Group.
