CR7 Drive is made without artificial flavors or sweeteners, designed to be light tasting and refreshing. It is a four-carb blend with electrolytes (135mg sodium, 125mg potassium, and 60mg magnesium) and vitamins (including B12 for supporting metabolism).
The product was developed by Herbalife’s sports science team to optimize Ronaldo’s performance and specific nutritional needs.
However, Herbalife CEO Michael Johnson said Ronaldo’s needs “are not all that different from the everyday athlete or fitness enthusiast, and we are honored to make CR7 Drive available to athletes at all levels.”
With CR7 Drive supplying carbohydrates for energy and replacing key electrolytes, Johnson added the drink is a fit for activities that significantly increase the heart rate, including soccer, spinning and running.
CR7 Drive has been tested for all banned substances through the NSF Certified for Sport program.
Herbalife sponsors more than 190 athletes, teams and events worldwide, including LA Galaxy, the Vietnamese Olympic Team, and Western Sydney Wanderers FC (Australia).
