Walmark buys Polish food supplements range

Eastern Europe’s biggest supplements manufacturer Walmark has bought a range of products from a Polish firm in immunity and sinus food supplements.

Czech-based Walmark paid an unspecified sum for the Sinulan Forte-branded products from Polish firm, Novascon Pharmaceuticals.

“We are delighted to add a very strong brand to our portfolio of products. Sinulan gives us exposure to a new dynamic category and further strengthens our position in the key Polish market.” said Walmark CEO, Jorge Manuel.

Walmark is jointly controlled by Mid Europa Partners and the founding Walach family.

“Together with our partners at Walmark we are pleased to support the company in the acquisition of Sinulan,” said Michelle Capiod, partner at Mid Europa.

“The transaction reflects our strategy of pursuing selective acquisitions in attractive categories with strong growth dynamics”.
