Top of the pops was the round table discussion about whether health claims in Europe are doomed. Shane Starling talks to Anke Sentko from Beneo, Jens Bleiel from DSM, and Christian Artaria from Indena about the severity of the rulings from EFSA about health claims.

Stephen Daniells, NutraIngredients.com’s science editor, talked to Cathy Signoret from Cosucra, Dr Julian Stowell from Danisco Sweetners, and Dr Gerard Corthier from France’s INRA about the role of gut bacteria in obesity.
