2008 round-up: This year’s most accessed audiovisual podcasts

NutraIngredients is reviewing the year and recapping on which articles generated the most interest amongst you, the readers. Today we look at the video and audio podcasts that sparked the most interest.

Round tables take top three spots

Top of the pops was the round table discussion about whether health claims in Europe are doomed. Shane Starling talks to Anke Sentko from Beneo, Jens Bleiel from DSM, and Christian Artaria from Indena about the severity of the rulings from EFSA about health claims.

Another round table discussion was the second most watched video of the year. Stephen Daniells, NutraIngredients.com’s science editor, talked to Cathy Signoret from Cosucra, Dr Julian Stowell from Danisco Sweetners, and Dr Gerard Corthier from France’s INRA about the role of gut bacteria in obesity.

Number three in the top five was Lorraine Heller’s round table discussion about the necessity and challenges of establishing a recommended daily intake (RDI) for the omega-3 fatty acids.
