Fiske to distribute Fortitech, DMV products in Britain
International have both signed new distribution agreements for
Great Britain with Fiske.
The European food ingredients unit of chemicals distributor Univar, Fiske will have exclusive distribution of Fortitech's range of food grade nutrient systems in Britain as well as DMV's proteins, food ingredients and nutritional products, except those targeted at the meat sector.
Both firms are already major players in the health and functional foods markets.
Fortitech is seeing strong demand from Europe and is set to start production at a new premix facility in Denmark this month.
"This new facility will dramatically expand our manufacturing efficiencies and our ability to offer customers flexible batch sizes, faster turnaround times, as well as increased technical support," said Jens Skytte Sorensen, managing director of Fortitech Europe in a statement last year.
