Vitamin manufacturer Solgar has been awarded three separate awards for its supplement ranges at the recent Vitality show in London.
The company won the 'Best range of vitamin and mineral supplements' award, the 'Best super food and oil range', and the 'Best herbal supplements' award.
Organised by consumer magazine Here's Health, the awards were based on votes from readers.
"We're delighted that so many consumers recognise the difference between mass market vitamins and Solgar," said Marie Kendall, Solgar marketing manager. "Ordinary vitamins just do not offer the same benefits as the quality products found in Solgar's extensive range of nutritional supplements."
Last year the Wyeth subsidiary launched Vitamin E Mixed Vegetarian Softgels, a gelatin-free version of its previous range of vitamin E softgels.
An operating unit of Wyeth Consumer Healthcare, and based in New Jersey, US, Solgar entered the UK market in 1988.
