Imagenetix, a US-based supplement manufacturer, has signed a marketing agreement with Vibrant Health, a company which specialises in online sales of vitamin supplements, which it hopes will lead to an increase in sales of its various natural products.
Vibrant Health already sells Imagenetix' Celadrin pills and cream products, designed to help treat arthritic pain, joint inflammation and muscle pain, through two websites, www.vibranthealthonline.com and www.store.yahoo.com/vibranthealthonline.
Celadrin is a proprietary natural-based nutritional supplement comprised of a blend of cetyl esters which is designed to compete with natural products such as glucosamine.
Commenting on the marketing agreement, Imagenetix' president William Spencer said: "We are in the early stages of developing distribution relationships for the Celadrin products. Testimonials from corporate clients and individual consumers reflect the positive impact they have had with the Celadrin products.
"That personal experience, coupled with the awareness created by the world-class athletes who are using our products, is creating quite an interest. Our phones are ringing consistently from people trying to locate where they can buy product. We see the relationship with Vibrant Health as a positive step in attempting to satisfy the desires of those consumers who are comfortable with the Internet as a way to purchase product."
Spencer claimed that a double blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial of Celadrin had shown that the supplement had a significant beneficial effect on 93 patients ranging in age from 37 to 77 years who were experiencing joint and mobility challenges. A clinical trial of Celadrin cream is currently underway.
