NutraIngredients Awards finalists announced. 11 categories, 33 potential winners

From SMEs to ingredient giants, universities and the edgiest product innovators, all finalists​ will be represented at our exclusive dinner and drinks awards night at the 5* Starling Hotel right by the Vitafoods expo at the close of show day 2 on May 11.

We changed the format a little this year to give more space to ingredient innovation whilst adding a second reader-voted award for Food Supplements in association with Vitafoods Europe so both ends of the supply chain are better represented.

The reader-voted Ingredient of the Year, also with Vitafoods Europe, remains and both reader categories are open for voting until April 22. Down to the wire​

University Research of the Year and Start-up of the Year remain and all nine judge-voted categories will not be decided until the day of the Awards when finalists make a final Dragon's Den-style pitch live to our judges in Geneva.

"Our independent 10-person judging panel​​ met this month to select the finalists and they are all super-excited to see these innovators present their cases in Geneva on the morning of the Awards ceremony," ​said NutraIngredients senior editor, Shane Starling, who oversaw the judging process.
